(WHTM) -- It may seem Spirit Halloween has only started its takeover of the nearest abandoned department store, but soon enough some of them will transform into Spirit Christmas shops.

Spirit Halloween launched the Christmas-themed stores last year with its only Pennsylvania location in Erie. The store featured festive décor, stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, interactive displays and much less spooky stuff.

This year, Spirit Christmas is quadrupling its footprint in the Northeast and Great Lakes region by expanding to 30 stores, including four in Pennsylvania.
