LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - Wilson County Schools is looking to join the growing list of Middle Tennessee school districts adding weapons detection systems to their schools.

The Board of Education passed their Five-Year Strategic Plan Thursday night, which included guidance for how the district is hoping to upgrade their safety technology in the coming years. It includes adding weapons detection systems at all high schools and expanding bullying prevention over the next one to two years.
