Taiwan recorded Chinese military presence around the island with 6 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around its territory, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence (MND) reported on Friday.

Sharing the details in a post on X, it noted that one out of the six sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s southwestern ADIZ.

“6 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. (UTC+8) today. 1 out of 6 sorties crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s southwestern ADIZ. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly”.

On Thursday, MND said it has detected the presence of 11 PLA aircraft, eight PLAN vessels and two official ships operating around its territory.
