FINNEY COUNTY, Kan. (KSNW) — A Garden City woman was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on Kansas Highway 156.

It happened Thursday about 6:30 p.m. on K-156 near Farmland Road.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a driver of a Nissan SUV attempted to cross the highway and was struck by a Lincoln sedan.

The SUV's driver, an 88-year-old Garden City woman, was transported to a hospital with suspected serious injuries.

The driver of the Lincoln, a 31-year-old man from Scott City, was not injured, according to the KHP report.
