Kannada actor, director and producer Rishab Shetty is one proud man. As a project dear to him - 'Kantara: Chapter 1' - hit theatres on October 2, he recalled how he struggled to secure one evening show for his directorial debut, 'Ricky' in 2016. He thanked the people who witnessed his journey and expressed his gratitude.

Rishab's heartfelt post on X also claimed that 'Kantara: Chapter 1' ran in 5,000 plus shows houseful in 2025. "From struggling to get one evening show in 2016 to 5000+ housefull shows in 2025. This journey is nothing but your love, support, and God’s grace. Forever grateful to every single person who made this possible," he posted on X.
