COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - On Thursday night, A development group and Richland County community members discussed the future of the Dutch Square Mall redevelopment project.

They also focused on the future of the Broad River District.

Stakeholders and business leaders gathered to explore how the project will impact jobs, education, and future investments in Richland County.

“It totally transforms it in the same way Bull Street was transformed, the same way Forest Acres is being transformed. This isn’t anything novel,” said Bishop Eric Davis. “The question is, why is every other part of the city viable enough to be transformed if this area is not?”

This is a developing story. Check later for more information.
