A Palm Bay city council meeting saw hundreds of residents and business leaders gather to condemn Councilman Chandler Langevin's social media posts targeting Indian Americans, while a few showed support for him.

The meeting, which began at 6 p.m., had dozens signing up to speak, with hundreds more waiting outside in hopes of entering the packed council chambers and overflow room.

Langevin's posts on his X page included statements such as "Deport every Indian immediately" and "There's not a single Indian that cares about the United States," sparking outrage among community members. Many speakers urged the council to take action to remove Langevin from office.
