DURHAM - The Oyster River High School field hockey team rebounded from its first loss of the season earlier in the week with a 6-0 win over Derryfield in a Division II game on Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Rowynn Pickering had two goals and one assist for Oyster River, while Natalie Buck, Maggie Aldous, Rose Paxton and Eliza Farwell all had one.

Paxton, Buck, and Aldous each had an assist for the Bobcats.

"Solid win," Oyster River head coach Anne Golding said. "Monday was a little rough with our first loss of the season ... so I think it was really important to come out today, be strong, finish as a team, work as a team and kind of get back to what we had been doing here in previous weeks, and we clearly did that today."

The Bobcats improved to 10-1, and will visit Bow (9-1-1) on Friday, Oct. 3.
