The city of Oxford is in a pickle over a skate park.

A second public meeting was held Tuesday to discuss the park, which was locked up this week with chains.
Chad Smith, director of parks and recreation, explained the decision to remove the more than 20-year-old wooden ramps and replace them with new surfacing and pickleball nets.
"We have a big, big maintenance issue with this current skatepark. I think that's pretty obvious. We know it's outlived its intended lifespan and there's some major maintenance issues, some major safety concerns that we have here," Smith said.
The city plans to build a concrete skate park, which co
