Taylor Swift has just dropped her highly anticipated 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, with fans quick to celebrate it as another “skipless pop bible”.

The 12-track release, which runs 42 minutes, is expected to send Swift, 35, rocketing back to the top of the charts around the world.

“Girl, first song in and I’m already loving it! What did you put on this album,” one person posted on X.

Another said: “And just like that, our album of the year is here.”

A third posted “Taypocalypse is here. The end”, and another said “Album of the year, of the decade, of my life”.

There was even reports that music platform Spotify had crashed in some regions because of the demand from fans wanting to listen.

“Album of the year just dropped and Spotify broke,” one social media user posted.
