Ricky Hatton's son has reacted to Oasis' touching tribute to his late father at their Wembley Stadium concerts.

The legendary boxer was a "die-hard" fan of the Britpop band and became close pals with Liam and Noel Gallagher.

Following the tragic news of his passing at the age of 46 last month, Oasis dedicated Live Forever from their 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe to Hatton at their pair of Wembley gigs on September 27 and 28, with an image of The Hitman projected onto the stage screen.

His 24-year-old son, Campbell, told ITV News of the outpouring of love for his father: “I couldn’t ask for any more and the support we’ve had from everyone has been unbelievable.”
