Storm Amy is set to batter Coventry and Warwickshire with 44mph winds. Latest Met Office forecasts predict strong winds tomorrow (Saturday, October 4) peaking at 44mph between 12noon and 1pm.
With the strong storm winds comes heavy rain too. The first band of heavy rain is set to sweep in later this afternoon (October 3) and another downpour overnight.
The heavy rain has prompted Warwickshire Resilience Forum (WRF), which includes emergency services, to urge locals to brace for potential flooding.
