Chennai: BJP MP Anurag Thakur, who was part of the BJP-NDA delegation that visited Karur where stampede took place during TK chief Vijay’s rally killing over 40, has written to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin to take charge of the situation and complete a probe into the incident at the earliest.

“On behalf of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) the Eight member delegation visited the tragedy site and also met the families of the victims. The people are in deep pain and this unfortunate incident has raised serious questions in their minds regarding the reasons & circumstances that led to such an unfortunate incident,” Thakur wrote to Tamil Nadu CM in a letter.
