A few showers popped in the afternoon yesterday, but as expected, they were very few and very far between. Yesterday was generally another warm day with many readings once again in the mid-80s.

The feature responsible for the pop-up showers has moved on from the Ozarks and we're back to warm and sunny weather today. Temperatures will climb into the mid to upper 80s this afternoon under a sunny sky.

Minimal changes are expected this weekend, although Saturday may be just a touch cooler thanks to a slight breakdown in a nearby area of high pressure. Otherwise. mid-80s and sunny weather will continue. Both Saturday and Sunday will also be a little breezy with south winds between 10 to 15 mph.

We'll be watching a small dip in the jet stream early next week. It will pass across the Upper Mid
