Bhubaneswar: The depression continued to over interior Odisha on Friday and is likely to further weaken into a well-marked low-pressure in next 24 hours, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

In a special bulletin, the IMD said that the depression over interior Odisha moved north-north-westwards with a speed of 15 kmph during past six hours and lay centred about 60 km of Phulbani, 90 km of Sambalpur (Odisha) and about 100 km of Bhawanipatna in Odisha. ADVERTISEMENT

The system is likely to move initially north-north-westwards across interior Odisha and then northwards across north Chhattisgarh and weaken gradually into a well-marked low- pressure area during next 24 hours.
