Special to The Desert Sun

Palm Desert's Xavier College Preparatory High School held its 15th annual pasta night on Sept. 14. Seven hundred tickets were sold and more than $124,000 was raised to support the school's mission. From academic programs and retreats to arts and athletics, these funds help the school offer more to their students without placing an additional financial burden on their families.

"Our 15th annual pasta dinner is more than a meal, it is a tradition that brings our entire Xavier community together in support of our Saints," said DoeDee Rover, Xavier vice president. "The outpouring of generosity we witness each year ensures that students have access to the programs, retreats and opportunities that shape them into leaders ready to make a difference."
