A nine-vehicle crash on the A13 Dagenham has left traffic at a stand still this morning (Friday, October 3). Drivers are being urged to avoid the area while emergency services carry out accident investigation work.
Eight cars and one lorry were involved in a crash on the eastbound carriageway of the A13 at around 9am this morning, between Ripple Road and Marsh Way, Dagenham.
One person has been rushed to hospital from the scene. One lane remains closed due to recovery work.
The Metropolitan Police Service has been contacted for a comment.
