CHEYENNE — A federal grant may create a clear path forward to prioritize improved student literacy in the Cowboy State, according to the Wyoming Department of Education.
On Friday, WDE officials announced they had been awarded a Comprehensive Literacy State Development (CLSD) grant totaling $24,453,007 over the next five years from the U.S. Department of Education. The grant will support the Wyoming Believing in Literacy Together: Soaring through Opportunity, Access, and evidence-aligned Resources (WYBLT: SOAR) project.
