The Township of Langley is inviting residents to apply for its council advisory committees to provide input on important issues and help shape the growth of the municipality.
The Agricultural Advisory Committee supports the Township’s Sustainability Charter by strengthening the agricultural economy, preserving farmland for food production, and protecting rural landscapes.
It also emphasizes Langley’s “rural character” as a vital part of community identity.
Two-year volunteer positions are available for residents with farming or agritourism experience, along with one youth position for participants from the Langley Learning Farm or Young Agrarians Program.
The Heritage Advisory Committee works to preserve the Township's natural, built, and cultural heritage.
