ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - USA Today’s best fall festival in the country starts next week. It’s in Indiana, but holds surprising ties to St. Louis.

The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is held in Evansville, Indiana.

A large attraction at the festival is a half pot. Also known as a 50/50 raffle. It’s said to be the largest half pot in the country.

In 2024, it broke $2 million, with half being given to nonprofits and one person walking away with $1 million.

The origin of this half-pot got it’s start right here in St. Louis, from the Cardinals Care digital 50-50 raffle games.
