EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The 104th West Nut Club Fall Festival is just a day away. To kick off the week of fun, families in the area have gathered on Franklin Street for Family Day.

The Fall Festival in Evansville is one of the largest street festivals in the country. The week-long event features a carnival, talent competitions and a grand parade on Saturday. Serving as a kickoff event for the week the West Nut Club holds a family day celebration for families with younger children in the area.

“I think it's just awesome to see everyone in our community come together once year and get out and support some of our local non profits and foundations,” Kasey Ferguson said. “It's just awesome to see everybody out here.”
