Former Derby County striker Robert Earnshaw admits he is concerned about the Rams ' fortunes this season.

John Eustace's men have won just one of their eight Champinship matches so far and going into the final match before the international break are hoping Saturday's Pride Park meeting with Southampton will bring their first home victory.

Eustace has asked for support from the Rams faithful and knows a win could both propel them up the table and deliver what Earnshaw says they need most - momentum.

Earnshaw, who played for the Rams in that infamous 2007/08 Premier League relegation season, likes some of the club's recruitment but fears another relegation battle.
