LIBERTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Pickens County Coroner’s Office said one person is dead following crash in Liberty on Friday morning.

Officials said the crash took place on Pickens Drive around 7:15 a.m.

According to the coroner, a passenger car crossed the center line of the highway and struck a work truck head-on.

The woman driving the car was killed in the collision.

The victim was identified as 38-year-old Ashley Hartsoe of Liberty.
