A 46-year-old Pontiac man was shot multiple times after his home was reportedly broken into early Thursday morning, officials said.

Another man in the home at the time, age 74, was reportedly zip-tied during the incident. Two suspects were unidentified and still at-large Friday morning.

Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies and paramedics were dispatched to the 60 block of North Tasmania Street at around 5:30 a.m. on Oct. 2 after the man’s girlfriend, 35, reported the shooting. The woman reportedly told deputies that she and her boyfriend were in bed when two men broke into their home, asked where their money was and then shot her boyfriend. He sustained three bullet wounds to the abdomen.

The sheriff’s office said paramedics transported the injured man to an area hospital where he’s listed
