Gallatin High’s two-goal loss to Bozeman High in September offered a chance for reflection.
The Raptors had started the season 2-0 but were then halted by their rival. When Gallatin returned to practice, the players sought to shore up aspects of their play.
“Everyone was just upset, frustrated,” senior Logan McBride said, “and I think we used that to go forward, work hard and make a lot of improvements.”
Gallatin has responded with seven consecutive wins since that point, the latest victory coming by a 4-0 margin Thursday at Bozeman Sports Park against those very same Hawks.
