The aurora borealis danced in the night skies over northern Michigan multiple nights this week, and more could be on the way.

NOAA's Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC) forecast shows the northern lights could be visible again in the northern Lower Peninsula and Upper Peninsula Friday night, Oct. 3, clear skies permitting.

The view line, according to NOAA, includes Michigan and 10 others states — possibly up to 12 if the aurora is stronger than predicted.
