AUBURN HILLS, MI – An unidentified woman died Thursday afternoon when the vehicle she was driving rolled over and struck a tree, FOX 2 Detroit reports .

The crash scene closed the roadway for hours near South Boulevard and Adams Road in Auburn Hills, the report said. A Chevy Equinox, which had landed upside down in a ditch, was eventually loaded on a truck and taken away.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, the report said. The Auburn Hills Police Department is also working to identify the woman and notify her family.
