YAZOO CITY, Miss. (WJTV) - Yazoo City Police Chief Terry Gann announced his retirement after 20 years in law enforcement.
"It's with a heavy heart that I'm announcing my retirement and the end of my position as Chief of Police in Yazoo City. I want to thank the great people of Yazoo City along with the wonderful people of Yazoo County for allowing me to serve you. For twenty years, Yazoo has been my home. And what a ride it's been!" said Gann.
He was named the Yazoo City police chief two years ago. Before joining the police department, Gann worked at the Yazoo County Sheriff's Office.
