VIJAYAPURA: Industries Minister M B Patil on Friday dismissed speculation of a change of Chief Minister in the state, saying that there is “no controversy” in the Karnataka high command and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has already said he will continue his five-year term.

Speaking to reporters, Patil said, “There is no controversy in the Karnataka high command.There is no question about this. The chief minister has already told everyone that he will continue for five years.”

On October 2, Karnataka Congress working president G C Chandrashekhar lashed out party leaders H D Ranganath and L R Shivarame Gowda over their remarks suggesting a change of Chief Minister in the state, asking them to “keep quiet”.
