Two South Florida Democrats will once again try to close a loophole in s that allows people to buy ammunition when they can’t pass a background check to purchase a firearm.
Rep. Dan Daley, D-Coral Springs, and Sen. Tina Polsky, D-Boca Raton, have once again filed the proposal known as “Jaime’s Law,” named for a victim of the 2018 Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, the nation’s deadliest mass shooting at a high school.
