A Major League angler has been indicted on multiple counts connected to a boating crash that killed three people and injured three others on Lewis Smith Lake.
The Cullman County District Attorney has scheduled a news conference at 2 p.m. Friday regarding the investigation into the crash.
It happened on April 16 during a Major League Fishing (MLF) tournament near the Miller Flats area of the lake.
Major League Fisherman Flint Davis, 22, of Leesburg, Georgia, He was operating a vessel at 67 miles per hour when it crashed into another boat at about 7 a.m., according to court documents.
