WILBRAHAM, MA (WGGB/WSHM) – A man is in custody following an incident that led to a shelter-in-place in one Wilbraham neighborhood.

Wilbraham Police Chief Edward Lennon said that their department received a call around 7:15 a.m. Friday for a report of a man threatening another person with a gun on Crane Hill Road.

When officers arrived, they found an armed man who was firing guns. Lennon added, due to the nature of the treat, a State Police tactical team was called in.

The suspect was safely taken into custody around 12:30 p.m. and no injuries were reported.

The case remains under investigation by Wilbraham Police.
