FAYETTE COUNTY, W.Va. — Authorities say a person died after being struck by a vehicle on the West Virginia Turnpike.

The state DOH confirmed that a pedestrian died after being hit in northbound lanes near mile marker 63 in between Mossy and Mahan in Fayette County.

All lanes are now open.
