LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - This Sunday millions of NASCAR fans nationwide will be tune in for the Roval 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

One of those cars that will be on the track has ties to the bluegrass.

NASCAR Cup Series regular season champion William Byron’s Number 24 Chevrolet has a new look.

Valvoline Global, Hendrick Motorsports and Blood Cancer United, formerly The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, are teaming up for the new paint scheme with special meaning.

“I mean hopefully we can go out there and win because I think having this paint scheme in victory lane would be the perfect icing on the cake,” said William Byron.
