NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — Multiple adults were stabbed after a domestic violence incident in New Britain, according to police.

The stabbings happened at around 2 p.m. on Allen Street. All victims are suffering from injuries and were transported to hospitals in the area for treatment, police said.

Police did not specify how many victims were involved.

The suspect was on scene during the investigation and was detained by police. The suspect's name has not been released.

It was an isolated incident, police said, and investigation is still active at this time.
