Police are looking to get in touch with anyone who may have witnessed a dog being abandoned in Manchester on Saturday.

Manchester Animal Control said a dog was left in the heat, inside a crate at Walmart on Buckland Hills Drive around 5 p.m.

Officials are looking for help locating the former owner that's believed to be responsible for abandoning the dog.

Anyone shopping at Walmart at the time who has a car dashcam that captured the incident is asked to call 860-645-5516.
