LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) is asking the public to be on the lookout for a man wanted for attempted capital murder.

Officials with NLRPD said they have identified 34-year-old Randy Carter Jr as a suspect in a shooting that occurred near the 800 block of W. 42nd Street on September 2, 2025.

He was last seen in the central Arkansas area, according to authorities.

Carter is wanted for: two counts of criminal attempt to commit capital murder, one count of endangering the welfare of a minor, 1st Degree, and one count of possession of firearms by certain persons.

Police said Carter also has active warrants regarding an incident on September 1, 2025, for domestic battery in the third degree and terrorisitc threatening.
