LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It’s already October. Temperatures are starting to come down and slowly we are going to be spending more time inside staying warm. Unfortunately, we’re not the only ones going to be doing that.

“Stink bugs, Asian lady beetles as well. Those are two of your insect pets that are going to look to overwinter this time of year,” said Trent Mobley, owner of Berner Pests Solutions.

Mobley said once cooler nights become more frequent, bugs try to find warmer places to call home.

“They are looking to get indoors and just ride out the winter. You know most insects; they are going to require the same things we need. Food, water, and a place to live and our homes do a great job of providing all that,” said Mobley.
