ANN ARBOR- The Crisler Center rafters will feature a new addition this year, Trey Burke’s #3 jersey will be raised and joining five other Michigan greats.

Burke led the Wolverines to the National Championship game in 2013 and garnered an impressive list of achievements in his Maize and Blue career before he was selected 9th overall in the 2013 NBA Draft.

Burke helped the Wolverines from the time he stepped on campus, leading the team to a share of the regular-season title for the first time in 26 years, and he won Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

In his sophomore year, he took home every National Player of the Year award and averaged 6.7 assists and nearly 19 points per game.

Burke played his final season in the NBA in 2022.

The ceremony will take place on January 23rd when Michigan host
