SEATTLE — Three people were arrested in Seattle for alleged armed robbery and kidnapping a man from Spokane.

The Seattle Police Department said officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the Chinatown-International District on Thursday, Oct. 2, around 1:30 a.m. Police found a 39-year-old victim, who told police that two men and a woman had offered him a ride from Spokane to the Seattle area but then assaulted and robbed him.

The victim told police that he gave the suspects $65 for gas before leaving Spokane, expecting to be driven to Redmond. Instead, the suspects drove straight to Seattle.

Then the driver allegedly turned and struck him in the face with a handgun while the other suspects punched him and held him while inside the car.
