MILLINOCKET — A Millinocket family is asking for help after their son was hit by a car while riding his bike Thursday afternoon.

Hunter Strong was initially taken to Millinocket Regional Hospital and later life-flighted to Bangor with a brain bleed. He suffered multiple injuries, including broken bones, a fractured skull, and lung damage.

Hunter remains in critical condition in the intensive care unit. His family has been traveling back and forth to Bangor as he undergoes surgeries and testing.
