The Erie Port Authority has an exciting opportunity for the community.

The former Erie Coke site is now cleaned up and ready to serve another purpose, and leaders want the public's opinions.

The Eastern Pennsylvania Port Authority is hosting a Future Concepts Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

After they purchased the former Erie Coke site in 2024, the Erie County Redevelopment Authority and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection restored the nearly 100-acre property.

The Port Authority’s next step is deciding what to do with the land.
