MONROE, La. (KNOE) - River Oaks School in Monroe has been chosen as a finalist in T-Mobile’s annual sports facility makeover.

The finalists are chosen by T-Mobile, but the winner is determined by the communities and their votes.

According to Dickson, the prize money would help renovate multiple aspects of the Mustangs’ facility.

“We would like to update our stadium, which is 50 years old. It needs some improvements to be ADA compliant, such as wheelchair ramps and guardrails,” Dickson says.

A T-Mobile crew will be at the River Oaks game on Oct 10, 2025. They will be giving out gear and checking out the atmosphere. Admission is free.
