BOISE, Idaho — Dog lovers from across the Treasure Valley are uniting for a good cause.

The Idaho Humane Society is hosting the annual See Spot Walk festival and community dog walk at Julia Davis Park on Saturday, Oct. 4. The event is celebrating its 33rd year in 2025.

The event features a mile long walk along the Boise River Greenbelt featuring many of the city's four-legged, furry friends. Participants can register online to fundraise for the Idaho Humane Society.

The Idaho Humane Society is one of the Gem State's oldest and largest animal welfare organizations. The money raised at the event goes to programs like the Pet Food Pantry and Meals on Wheels for Pets, which offers free food and supplies to cost-burdened families and homebound people.
