Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1 is rewriting box office history. After a thunderous opening day with ₹61.85 Cr India net, the Rishab Shetty starrer showed remarkable hold on its second day, adding another ₹45 Cr (early estimates) across all languages.

Despite being a regular working Friday, the Kannada period mythological action drama witnessed only a 27–30% drop, proving its strong audience pull.

With this, the film’s two-day India net total stands at an astounding ₹104.85–106.85 Cr, officially entering the coveted ₹100 Crore Club in just 48 hours.

This is a new record for Sandalwood. The original Kantara took 17 days to cross the ₹100 Cr milestone, while its prequel has achieved the same feat in just two days.
