BISMARCK, N.D. (KFYR) - The summer weather is quickly slipping away, and Bismarck residents, young and old, are taking advantage by hitting the links and celebrating birthdays before the weather turns.

“Fall is when my baby sister, Millie, is turning one, which is actually today,” said Maverick Erickson.

Others were finishing up home projects.

“We just kind of tend to take it day by day, and whatever is there, we go ahead and live by it,” said contractor Rod Genrich.

The fall cool down starts on Saturday with temperatures in the sixties, and they drop even further on Sunday.
