MADISON (WKOW) -- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shared more information with 27 News about arrests made by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Madison on Thursday, Oct. 2.

ICE agents were looking to arrest Ismael Hernandez-Padilla . Hernandez-Padilla is charged with strangulation and suffocation, battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping in a Sept. 7 attack. A woman told Madison police she was walking to a gas station on Packers Avenue when a man, identified as Hernandez-Padilla, dragged her to a vacant lot, strangled her and punched her.

She said she escaped by "playing dead."

Hernandez-Padilla is also charged with two counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and one count of lascivious behavior, all misdemeanors, in a separate case.
