ITHACA, N.Y. (WENY) -- The City of Ithaca is establishing an advisory committee to examine the salaries of elected officials and possibly make a recommendation on its findings.
Ithaca Mayor Robert Cantelmo announced Friday that the the Elected Official Compensation Review Advisory Committee will evaluate the current salaries of elected officials and compare them to living wage standards, job duties and requirements as well as compare the salaries to other mayoral and council offices across New York State.
