COLUMBIA, S.C. — The weekend ahead will be mostly dry across the Midlands , but some changes will soon arrive as we move into Sunday and next week.
Tonight, lows will dip into the mid-to-upper 50s. A few more clouds are expected to move in overnight, resulting in partly cloudy skies; however, the air remains too dry for fog to be a concern.
High pressure will continue to keep conditions dry through Saturday, with a steady northeast breeze occasionally gusting near 20 mph. Skies will be partly cloudy on Saturday, and temperatures will be seasonable. Highs will be in the low 80s across the region.
By Sunday, winds will turn more easterly, allowing moisture to return to the area. This will lead to more clouds, higher humidity, and a chance for a stray shower or two, especially across the
