BREMERTON — The WWII-era wooden tugboat that sunk in Bremerton Marina on Sept. 17 is scheduled to be lifted out of Sinclair Inlet by Saturday, Oct. 4, and towed to Anacortes afterwards, according to the Department of Ecology.

On Oct. 2 a crane arrived at the Bremerton Marina from Seattle to prepare for the lift of the Dominion. After it is removed the 128-foot tugboat will be dewatered and assessed. The plan is to repair and stabilize the vessel so it can be towed to a shipyard in Anacortes, according to an update on the Department of Ecology website.
